VA Certification Program
The Veterans Service Office within the office of financial aid assists veterans, service members, dependents, and survivors of veterans with application for veterans educational benefits for which they may be entitled as a result of their service or dependency status. While the Veterans Service Office does not determine eligibility for assistance, it does ensure that proper paperwork is completed, certified, and filed with the US Department of Veteran Affairs so that payment of benefits can proceed. The office also provides advice and assistance to veterans on other forms of federal aid that may be available to them.
